Livestock Processing

Rates
Our standard processing rate for livestock (hogs, cattle, sheep, lamb, goat, and rabbit) is $1.40 per pound (hanging weight) if the animal is dropped off at our shop already skinned or quartered.

If we handle the pickup, the rate increases to $1.60 per pound.

Any livestock delivered as a dead animal, skinned or plucked, is also charged at the pickup rate of $1.60 per pound.

Livestock Flat Fees and Surcharges

All pickups incur a flat $100 Kill Fee and a $100 Transfer Fee. 

Please note that animals further than 50 miles from the shop will require a custom pickup quote. 

Federal Kill Fee

If your order requires Federal inspection upon processing, an additional $250 Federal Kill Fee applies, which is added to the standard per-pound rate. 

For convenience, same-day delivery service is available for an extra $50 per animal.

Wild Game Processing and Policies

For wild game, we offer a flat rate of $130.00 for processing a whole deer (basic cut and wrap), or $2.00 per pound if the deer is delivered boneless or quartered. Bear processing is $1.60 per pound for cut and wrap. Bear processing also has a $100 skinning fee if the animal is not skinned, and a $50 fee for any after-hours drop-off (after 6:00 PM). 

Finally, any finished product not picked up within 72 hours of notification will be subject to a storage fee of $25.00 per day.
